Mr Stink Book Blog

So far in the book, a girl called Chloe finds a homeless man on a bench that really stinks. She goes home and sneaks a sausage for Mr Stink to eat.

This is my favourite book ,even though I haven’t read all of it, because I’ve read the blurb and it seems EXTREMELY interesting! I predict that Mr Stink will try to sneak inside Chloe’s house and they’ll catch him because of his scent. Then they’ll eventually let him stay because he’s homeless and they don’t want to leave him on his own in the bench.

In addition everyone tries to avoid Mr Stink and no one has ever had a proper conversation with him, except Chloe.

Football Tournament

Tomorrow, Thursday the 19th of May, two selected teams (one girl team and one boy team) are competing against many schools around Reading in the sport football. I am part of the girl team and my fellow team member positioned midfield Mya said “We have been training so much that we are prepared for whatever team we compete against.” A member of the boys team  Alexander positioned goal said ” We have been training non-stop and its such a thrill just to play one of  my hobbies football and at least we get no school for one afternoon.”

We are all excited and ready for tomorrow and we all can’t wait!

Scratch Programming In Computing

I can now make my Scratch make funny noises and speak.

The best thing I made it do was make it go forward and backwards.

The hardest thing was trying to not make Scratch go upside down when he stepped to the side.I overcome this by going through the different categorises. Finally I found a button which was a glide button. The glide button made Scratch move swiftly to the side.

If you have this program on your device at home answer these questions bellow.and leave your answers in the comment section.

1.what can you now program the computer to do?

2.What is the best thing you made Scratch do?

3.What was hard and how did you overcome it?

Feel free to comment and leave reply’s on other posts to.

They even come to school holding them in their hands in case they get a cheeky 5 minutes to have a quick read. Why do you like these books so much? What makes them exciting? What makes you recommend them to friends because I can see more and more of you choosing to read them. Do they take you long to read? What questions do you have for Michael? Let’s see if we can get him to answer some of your comments.

Cross country

347d22_3c0e8bea8ce8410cbde9d8b400b14ffb                      This is a post all about cross country.

                       What is cross country?

Cross country is a running race where you go run round a field, pavement ect. Its very competitive  you sometimes race to get a prize for being first. Its very tiring and draining so if you do this sport at a tournament or just for fun you have to have allot of stamina to be first. How do I know so much? I have had experience in cross country and went to a tournament at highdown school and managed to run to second place and this year I want to win with first place so I think I have enough of experience and i have been in other team such as athletic team where you do running, football team and we managed to get to the second round etc. So I am very sporty and im also sports captain so come to me if you need any tips so if you like cross country or want to take a interest in say yes in comments or no if not.

Literacy: Heroes v villains, Character descriptions.

In literacy this term  were learning about heroes and villains. We had to do character descriptions  about the hero you chose or the villain you chose. I chose voldemort from the famous movies and books Harry potter. So sit back and enjoy!

Voldemort

The lightning was pounding against the sheltered corridor like a hurricane was attacking the building while an unsavoury exemplar stood still in the distance .The silhouette of this person stood perched at the end of the crooked corridor with a diabolical sneer. The inky black cape was drooling behind the dark mysterious figure stealing the dampened earth from that stood beneath the body. All that was visible was piercing blue tributaries gone in all different directions placed on the Delphic soul’s Head .We have not yet discovered who this individual person was until he/she stepped into the light.

Thuds were heard the lights flickered, the character who we didn’t know was revealed. His name was Voldemort. He was a walking nightmare that will haunt you even if he’s not there making your life a misery like his. There was not much of a face on this human like creature, his nose was pressed into his face so that was all of left of a nose was two protruding nostrils. There was two pin pricked orbs in the middle of his face that’s are the shape of a villain as he was one.

The cracked dry lips that belonged to Voldemort looked like they’ve never seen any sort of liquid in years. When he talks you get access to see his mahogany coloured gums, moulded into his gums was amber stones that grinds when he’s displeased. His walk is a vicious as his talk. When he roams about he doesn’t care were his body is trespassing on.

Suddenly a roar was heard saying “speed up you idiot, crawl on the floor for all I care…JUST GET HERE BY MY SIDE.” We all knew who that voice belonged to. The owner of that roar was Voldemort’s voice speaking to a dainty innocent goblin scurrying across the floor. “Yes lord Voldemort I’m here” the goblin shrieked. BANG! Voldemort voice c
ackled down the polluted corridor saying  “ Ahhhh.” with a malicious glare Voldemort plummeted to the ground.

“Expeliarmus” A boy who did not present himself well struck Voldemort with his magic wand. His name was Harry Potter.
